I have a question don’t bother too much Just follow these simple steps and you will soon be ready to participate.
Being a coach you would agree that we pick up only the strongest possible players to make up the most promising team. Sometimes only few players are required who can be assembled without disturbing the existing set up.
But in soccer tryouts there are lot many variables involved.
In order for your kid to be successful ensure his talent and personality is aptly exhibited in the area the coach is looking for.
A player has to exhibit the following things which the coaches and soccer association will be looking for
Skill: The most important aspect the coach will look for how well a player performs the skills that are necessary to play soccer It will be very difficult for the player to perform during the game if the player is not able to perform these skills consistently during soccer tryouts the ball should be in control during tapping, dribbling passing We also need to assess things like soccer knowledge and the player’s intuitive behavior.
Condition: Excellent conditioned player with average skills will manage to attract the attention of the coach. any player who loses breath after 15 minutes into soccer tryout will get similar treatment. If your players lack the required stamina to perform in tryouts soccer, they not only let them down, but let the team down as well.
It will be a puzzle for the coach as to why the player is not in shape. Being out of shape at a soccer tryout suggests that either you don’t care, or are lazy, or you are highly unprofessional thinking that being out of shape wouldn’t matter.
Attitude: The player must have the potential as well as the intention to learn. Does the player put forward their best foot in performing all the task every time?
Does the player exhibit the attitude to pursue excellence all the time. Are they flexible? Are they ready to learn new skills, techniques and strategies Are they open to learning new positions without complaining?
When the soccer tryouts are over; pay attention to what happens next. Many times tryouts are conducted over a number of days. the coach might inform you immediately if your player has made to the team. at other times you might be informed about their decision either through a call or letter to your home. Do not ask him if they have succeeded or not.
At last make sure you don’t leave behind your values in the field Pay your respect to the coach for providing his time and valuable feedback in helping you prepare for the soccer tournament
