I would wish to introduce this article by articulating that I will approach the use of a protein supplement from a different point of view than the ussual: “let’s make a lot of muscle mass”. While bodybuilders are clearly accountable for the introduction of protein supplements into mainstream employment they have applied it for a single minded purpose. I am here to point out some different things you might not acknowledge.

First off I would like you to see that the basic cause a protein supplement is so good at making muscle is that it  promotes good health. Think of it this way, muscle is a highly metabolically active tissue which has a lot of expenditure attached  to its existence. Basically this means that you have to be at least marginally healthy to put on any kind of muscle. Think about  the last time you were sick, were you able to work out? What if you had a low level of health, do you believe you would be able to  pack on as much muscle as the healthier guys.

A rapid elucidation, I don’t think body builders are healthy. I think that some of the practices that go on in proffesional  body building are not healthy and they do not produce heathy individuals. That being enunciated a quality protein supplement has many  facets that can benefit your health.

*metabolism (is fostered through many paths, from hormone modulation, to neurotransmiter buildup and even through the fact that protein is tougher to digest and therefore requires of your metabolism to step-up its yield of energy)
*arouses satiation (protein it is the most hunger quenching nutrient)
*improving insulin sensitivity (this is simply because neither fat, nor protein causes the release of insulin – except in very little quantities)
*it can aid you get trim by increasing the calorie percent of your diet that is derived from protein

After reading material about protein for so many years I have grown to be sure that a quality protein supplement employed everyday for the  purpose of raising your protein intake is a great way to ramp up your health.

Please let me restate one important benefit of protein comsumption: hormone and metabolism benefits translate into beneficial events throughout your body.

In a nutshell

Let’s get one affair out of the way:

The best protein supplement is absolutely NOT a whey protein supplement.

The truth is that for roughly 88 out of 100 white individuals, a whey protein supplement is toxic.

This means that if you are using a whey protein supplement there is an 88% probability that you are poisoning yourself.

This article is my unique contribution to the protein supplement debate. I have not seen it addressed anywhere else, and I now recognise that this matter is critical. This is not hype, I have written this so that you give this article the proper attention it deserves.

I’d like you to meet lectins

Lectins are a class of proteins that have the misfortune of chemically reacting with certain blood types while being completely neutral to others. Lectins are found in different foods and as such these foods will react poorly with certain blood types
Eating lectins that are incompatible with your blood type produces digestive, metabolic and immune distress. Lectins can cause your blood cells, as well as other cells, to aggutinate (stick together in clumps). They can also be interpreted as foreign invadors by the immune system, causing allergic reactions.
And this has what to do with choosing the best protein supplement?
Plainly this: a protein supplement holds the lectins from the food from which it was prepared

If you consume a whey protein supplement, you will be ingesting whey lectins. If you eat a casein protein supplement you will be ingesting casein lectins. If you consume a soy protein supplement, you will be consuming soy lectins. The aforesaid narration goes for a protein supplement from hemp, rice, eggs, etc

Therefore, if you eat a protein supplement which was created from food that responds negatively with your blood type you will contract effects like: immune system reaction (ie food allergy), decreased protein breakdown (and food poisoning as a result of this), inflammatory and autoimmune disease, damage to intestinal lining, and many more
I’d really like to hear some backing up of that 88% number you proposed?
Breakdown of Caucasian population by blood type:
Blood Type O – 47 %
Blood Type A – 41%
B Blood Type – 9 %
AB Blood Type – 3 % ( information source, straight from my high school anatomy class book)

Type A and Type O are discouraged to consume either whey or especially casein as it contains lectins that react badly with their blood type — information source, a highly acclaimed nutrition  science book which I will be naming later for suspension purposes.

Note: the preceding data is not up for questioning, it is verified scientific fact, do your private research and find out.

47 + 41 = 88% of white population should not eat either whey or casein – these two are the most ordinarily referenced as: “best protein supplement” protein supplements on the planet.

Let me pose a qestion!
How can a protein supplement that isn’t good for most of the white population (and actually detrimental) be considered the best protein supplement?

I’m not seeking to scare anyone so let me insert some clarifications:
– for type O, casein is nastier when compared to whey;  if you are a [healthy] type O, you can eat whey from time to time and be free of symptoms; you should not eat casein at all even if you are healthy;
– for type A, the aforementioned rules as for O, with one exception, there is a 20% probability that whey will be neutral for you, but you have to test for this;

{!! please don’t make the supposition that simply because you are a healthy type O (or A) you should consume whey, it is still bad for you. Eating a bag of chips won’t make you ill, but it still has bad effects on your body. Why should you diminish your results when there are choices that are actually advantageous} for you? For [example for the type O, beef has a positive effect on health. Just cast out that whey and eat beef if your blood type is O. This is not recommended for Type A.~ Avoid the mistake of thinking that since you are a healthy type O you should continue using your whey protein supplement~Do not make the mistake of thinking that just because you are a healthy type O you should ignore this advice~Refrain from thinking that just because you are a healthy type O (or A) you can ignore this advice and just continue using your whey protein supplement~If you care about yourself (and I assume you do) avoid the thinking: “well I am a healthy type O and I’ve been ok with this protein supplement so I guess I am just gonna keep using it”. This is not a good ideea simply because you will be experiencing less than optimal results and doing yourself some gratuitous harm on this path. Think of it like this — a serving of french fries won’t kill you, but it will still be bad for you and cause systemic upset. So unless you really like the taste of whey (inside joke here) there is no reason to keep using it if you are a type O or A}

What you should realize here is that this is more significant than it is commonly understood. You look at people on forums posting and babbling about the best protein supplement without recognizing that:

1 the best protein supplement is based on something called the best protein

2 the best protein doesn’t exist because all people don’t respond well to all protein – let me to say this again: no protein is beneficial for everybody, so there is no such thing as the best protien, or the best protein supplement.

I have preached about this before but it must be understood:
The best protein supplement is the protein supplement that is best for YOU.
And what is healthy for you is bad for someone else, so the whole concept of the best protein supplement is absolute marketing hype.
