PIASLC] Brazilian Soccer Camp programme.   Successful BSS uses Futebol de Salao (FDS).  The training and game is known for a 5-a-side version of football originally from South America.  Futebol de Salao is played with a smaller (size 2), and a little heavier (465gm) ball that has virtually no bounce to it. 

The PIASLC has also confirmed an relationship with the US-based IronKids programme. This  connection will focus on bringing four junior Triathlon events every year as well as training camps for kids aged between 6 and 15.

The PIASLCis organized into specialized sports academies.   has chosen former Muay Thai champion “Thanootong’’ Prasert Intanoo to manage the martial arts programme at the sprawling Phuket, Thailand sports centre.   Just as muay thai boxing requires dedication and expertise, the appointment is another anecdote of the PIASLC bringing in leading professionals to staff the up-and-coming first-rate facility and help place it as the premier sports and leisure destination in Asia.

As part of a total commitment to sports excellence the Phuket International Academy Mind Centre has begun to provide training in the cultivation of cognitive and emotional balance.   The PIAMC will  provide  a blend of contemporary psychology and neuroscience in association with ancient Asian contemplative practices.  Working in close interaction with the Phuket International Academy Day School and the PIA Sports and Leisure Club, the programmes offered by PIAMC will contribute to participant’s enhanced mental balance
and wellbeing.  Some retreats focuses on two methods for cultivating meditative quiescence called shamatha.     It teaches the practice of “mindfulness of breathing”, which is an effective technique for relaxing the body and calming the mind.
